Q: I have lost the key to the locking wheel nuts (YOU MUST HAVE THIS KEY)
A: Please go to your car dealer and ask them to for a new key. They may require the chasis number
Q: How long does it take to do an alloy wheel repair?
A: Between 1 & 2 hours for a single wheel & about 4-5 hours for a full set
Q: What process do you use for your alloy wheel repair /refurbishment?
A: The vast majority of Alloy wheels are painted and have a lacquer coat. We strip this back & make any repairs needed. We use the latest paint and lacquer technology that uses Ultra Violet paint and ovens for a very durable finish of the highest quality.
We apply a primer coat, 2 coats of colour followed by 3 coats of lacquer Clear Coat
Q: I have bubbling/peeling paint on my alloy wheels
A: This is alloy rust or oxidization, and takes longer to treat.
We will need your wheels for approx 2 days
Q: What is a SMART alloy wheel repair?
A: Most SMART repairers just do a patch repair to the local area of damage, not the whole face of the wheel, which can look poor or even result in paint failure
Q: How much does alloy wheel repair cost?
A: £65 for 1 wheel
£120 for 2 wheels
£50 per wheel for 3 wheels or more
£65 per wheel for 4 x 4 cars + VAT
(subject to inspection)
Q: Can you match the paint colour?
A: Yes. We can match all colours of painted alloys. Our technicians are also able to offer a range of custom colours and finishes if you require a unique look for your alloys.
Q: Can you do custom colours to my alloy wheels?
A: Yes. Please add £10 per wheel for 2 colours
Q: Can you repair Polished (Diamond cut) alloys?
A: Polished (Diamond cut) alloys have very fine lines like on a CD or DVD. It's not possible to restore these finishes to their original condition with same-day refinishing. Our technicians are able to repair damage to the wheels and give them an excellent painted finish that will allow you to still benefit from a same day service with very little difference in appearance.
We can also restore the Diamond cut finish, but we will need the wheel for about 7 days
£100 per wheel + VAT
